No. Even if this is your first studio session, you can get guidance from an engineer. Let us know your experience level when booking.

Which microphone and interface do you use?

For vocals we use an sE Electronics SE2200 condenser microphone. For the audio interface/preamps we work with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or a Universal Audio Apollo Twin — depending on the session and the sound you want. For studio rental without an engineer, we explain the setup at the start.

Can I book studio rental on my own?

Yes, if you can work the equipment independently. With studio rental without an engineer, you're responsible for the recording and operation yourself. We work with an sE Electronics SE2200 and a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 or Universal Audio Apollo Twin.

Is mix and mastering included?

Only when it's explicitly stated in the chosen package. For standalone studio sessions, you can add mix and mastering as an extra service.

Can I bring someone along?

A maximum of three visitors per session is allowed, unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Can I book a short session?

Yes. There are sessions from thirty minutes and affordable walk-in slots. These are only available at selected times.

When is my booking final?

A booking is only final after payment or written confirmation from R.E.R.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Up to 24 hours before the start, you can cancel or reschedule the session free of charge. Within 24 hours, 50% of the booking value may be charged.

Studio Membership & Artist Development

One membership system for monthly studio time and guidance. No unlimited hours.

Studio subscriptions are on /memberships. Artist Development with guidance is on /diensten/artist-development. Subscriptions don't give unlimited access — hours must be scheduled in advance and unused hours expire.
